Robertson nets 11 in latest win

The Saddleback men's water polo team cruised to a 26-5 win over Fullerton College on Wednesday in Fullerton.  Donald Robertson had 11 goals in the win.

Robertson has been a force in 2022.  The freshman from Orange Lutheran High School had a career-high 11 goals on Wednesday as the Bobcats improved to 12-1 overall and 4-0 in Orange Empire Conference play.

Robertson now has 73 goals on the season, which ranks No. 1 in goals-per-game in the state.  He has been red hot as of late, scoring 34 goals in the past four games. 

Joining Robertson in having a big game on Wednesday was Alec Isaacman, who tallied four goals of his own.  Carson Williams and Luke Weintre both had three goals apiece. 

Saddleback had a 12-1 lead after one quarter and a 17-1 lead at halftime in breezing past the Hornets. 

Saddleback will be back in action at the Cuesta College Tournament on Friday and Saturday in San Luis Obispo.  The Bobcats open on Friday morning against Diablo Valley College, a program they beat for third place at the state finals last November.  They are scheduled to start at 9:10 AM.
