Robertson wins state AOW
The Saddleback men's water polo team was back in the news on Tuesday when it was announced that Donald Robertson was honored by the California Community College Water Polo Coaches Association (CCCWPCA). Robertson had a big week in winning the Male Athlete-of-the-Week.
Robertson has been phenomenal through 11 games. The freshman from Orange Lutheran High School has 57 goals through 11 games, which leads the state in goals-per-game (5.18). He had an amazing tournament this past weekend when he scored 25 goals in four games. The weekend was highlighted by a nine-goal, three assist performance against Modesto on Saturday morning.
Robertson and the Bobcats are currently 10-1 overall and 2-0 in Orange Empire Conference play.
