Bobcats post solid scores at Occidental

The Saddleback men's track & field team was in action on Saturday at the Occidental Distance Carnival at Occidental College in Los Angeles.  The Bobcats had a number of top-10 performances.

Saddleback was led by Ja'Qorie Goodson (left), Daniel May (center) and Brandon Pizano-Pintor (right). 

Goodson had two top-10 performances, finishing sixth in the long jump (5.99 m) and ninth in the triple jump (12.03 m).  May had the best finish of the day, placing second in the javelin (45.08 m).  Pizano-Pintor was another top-5 finisher, placing fifth in the 3,000 steeplechase (9:50.70).   

Saddleback had two other top-10 finishes as Trazler McGrath was ninth in the pole vault (3.46 m) and Ezekiel Sapp was ninth in the hammer throw (38.19 m). 

Saddleback will be back in action at the OCC Classic next Friday in Costa Mesa.
