Bobcats fourth at latest OEC meet

The Saddleback men's swimming and dive team finished fourth on Friday at the most recent Orange Empire Conference meet at Golden West College.  The Bobcats had 11 finishes in the top eight.

Saddleback had three first place finishes with Jacob Frailey winning both the 1-meter dive (171.2) and 3-meter dive competition (210.3) on Thursday (@ OCC) and Chase Campbell winning the 100 Fly (55.34) on Friday.  Campbell wasn't finished with solid finishes, placing second in the 200 Breaststroke (2:17.32) and fifth in the 400 Individual Medley (4:26.45). 

Saddleback had three other top-8 finishers in events in Jared Chavez, Scott Olsen and Will Prawira.  Chavez was fifth in both the 500 Freestyle (5:23.62) and 1,650 Freestyle (18:51.06).  Olsen was fifth in the 100 Backstroke (1:02.35) while finishing eighth in the 200 Backstroke (2:19.33).  Prawira (pictured) was fifth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.68) and eighth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:25.33). 

Saddleback will be back in the water at the Riverside City College Invitational on April 7.
