The inaugural season for men's soccer is just seven weeks away and the coaches are evaluating the talent to prepare for its first season of competition. The Bobcats open the season on August 29.
The coaches are pleased with what they have seen so far.
"The response from the community has been great," head coach BJ McNicol said. "The turnout has been strong. It's our job to figure out who can play at this level."
Saddleback's inaugural men's schedule features a bevy of tough tests, including a grueling Orange Empire Conference schedule. The Bobcats will open the non-conference schedule at San Diego Mesa College on August 29. It also includes a matchup at Mt. San Antonio College on September 7, a program that played for the state title in 2022. Saddleback's home-opener is scheduled for September 5 against Pasadena City College.
Tickets for home games will go on sale at a later date.
