Bobcats now 38-0

The Saddleback men's golf team improved to 38-0 in Orange Empire Conference play with a victory at Cottonwood Golf Club on Monday in El Cajon.  Carson Adams and Aidan Valdez shared medalist honors.

Adams and Valdez both shot -1 (71) on Monday on the 6,736-yard par-72 trek.  Teammate Clayton Smith finished one shot back in a tie for third place with an even-par round of 72.  Declan Lane came into the clubhouse with a +1 round of 73 to finish in a tie for sixth place.  Denis Watson shot +2 (74) to finish ninth. 

Saddleback's round of 361 as a team was the third lowest score of the season behind a 353 (-7) at Costa Mesa Gold Club and a 360 (even) at Los Serranos Golf Club. 

Saddleback is now 38-0 for the season heading into the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Finals next week.  The OEC Finals are 36 holes at Los Serranos next Monday. 

With the 60-0 finish from the women's golf team in Orange Empire Conference play during the fall, the two Saddleback golf teams are now 98-0 during the 2022-23 calendar year.
