The Saddleback basketball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that a player from the 2022-23 squad has made a commitment to a four-year university. Sophomore Jimuel Reyes made a commitment to Cal State San Bernardino earlier in the week.

The Saddleback men’s basketball season came to a close on Saturday night in the regional semifinals at San Bernardino Valley College. The Bobcats fell 77-45 to a hot shooting Wolverine squad.
Bobcats advance past Moorpark

The Saddleback men’s basketball team defeated Moorpark College, 81-68, in the opening round of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Southern California Regional Playoffs on Wednesday night inside the gymnasium. The Bobcats will travel to San Bernardino Valley College on Saturday for the regional semifinals.
Reyes and Burries lead All-OEC selections

The Saddleback men’s basketball team finished in a tie for second place in the Orange Empire Conference this season and as a result had a handful of players make the all-conference squad. Jimuel Reyes and James Burries were both selected to the first team while Nick Bowden and Elijah Al-Debaran made the second team, with Gerald Jones III being named honorable mention.

The Saddleback men’s basketball team was named the No. 13 seed for the upcoming California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Southern California Regional Tournament. The Bobcats will host Moorpark College on Wednesday night in the opening round.
