Lyon is commit No. 12
The Saddleback football program had more great news on Wednesday when it was announced that tight end Seth Lyon has signed a letter-of-intent to a four-year program. Lyon is the 12th member of the 2023 squad to find a new home since December.
Lyon signed a letter-of-intent to play at Portland State, located in Portland, Oregon. The Vikings play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Big Sky Conference.
Lyon finished the season with five receptions for 97 yards and two scores this past season. His biggest play of the season came against Palomar College when he took a pass and raced 52 yards for a score against the Comets.
Lyon came to Saddleback from Dana Hills High School where he lettered in football and surf before graduating in 2021.
Lyon is the 12th member of the 2023 team to commit to a four-year program this off-season.
