Herrera is latest football commit

The Saddleback football program was back in the news over the weekend with another commitment to a four-year university.  Offensive lineman Christian Herrera becomes the seventh member of the team to transfer to a new home.

Herrera had a solid sophomore campaign, being named to the All-National Division Southern League First Team following the season.  He was part of an offensive line that helped the offense average 401 yards of offense and 34.3 points-per-game. 

Herrera will transfer to Midland University, located in Fremont, Nebraska.  The Warriors play under the NAIA umbrella within the Great Plains Athletic Conference. 

Herrera is the seventh member of the 2023 squad to sign and transfer during the spring.
