Roebuck is latest Bobcat to commit
The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement of another player committing to a four-year university. Zachary Roebuck says he will continue his collegiate football career at Chowan University.
Chowan is located in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, and will play an NCAA DII schedule within the Gulf South Conference in 2023. The Hawks were 7-4 last season, going 7-1 in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
Roebuck was a two-year starter at Saddleback, playing in 19 games for the Bobcats. He had 44 receptions for 386 yards and four scores in his two seasons. Previous to Saddleback, Roebuck lettered in football and track at Rich Central High School (IL) before graduating in 2019.
Roebuck is the 15th member of the 2022 squad to commit to a four-year university.
