Cooper is 22nd commitment

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement of another commitment to a four-year university.  Wide receiver Jeremy Cooper becomes the 22nd commitment of the off-season.

The Saddleback football program has had a busy couple of weeks.  The Bobcats have had a number of commitments to four-year universities, and have a couple of more in the works.  The latest was Jeremy Cooper, who gave a pledge to Western New Mexico University.

Cooper finished with 18 receptions for 192 yards and two touchdowns this past fall.  His best game came against East Los Angeles College when he had four catches for 97 yards and a score (79 yards).  He finished his two-year career at Saddleback with 36 receptions for 428 yards and three scores.

Cooper committed to Western New Mexico, located in Silver City, New Mexico.  The Mustangs play an NCAA DII schedule within the Lone Star Conference.
