Sanders puts Bobcats over 20 commits

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement of another commitment to a four-year university.  Bryan Sanders is the 21st member of the program to commit this off-season.

Sanders committed to Carson-Newman University, located in Jefferson City, Tennessee.  The Eagles play an NCAA DII schedule within the South Atlantic Conference. 

Sanders had a big season for Saddleback in 2021, finishing with 19 tackles, two interceptions and seven pass break-ups.  In his two season in the program, Sanders had 37 tackles, three interceptions and nine pass break-ups in 18 games.  Sanders had interceptions in two of his last three games in 2021 and recorded a season-high five tackles with three pass break-ups against Ventura College on October 2.

Sanders becomes the 21st member of the program to make a commitment to a four-year university.
