Bobcats with another commitment

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2021 squad has committed to a four-year university.   Quarterback DJ Ralph became the 19th commitment of the year after committing to San Diego State.

Ralph played in eight games in 2021, completing 56.7% of his passes while throwing nine touchdowns against four interceptions with a 137.9 efficiency rating.  Ralph also proved to be a decent runner as a quarterback, finishing with 84 yards and three scores on the ground.  He came to Saddleback from Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego.

Ralph will play at San Diego State, located in San Diego, California.  The Aztecs are an NCAA DI program playing within the Mountain West Conference.  San Diego State finished 12-2 in 2021, beating UTSA in the Tropical Smoothie Café Frisco Bowl in December.

Ralph becomes the 19th player from the program to make a commitment to a four-year university this off-season.
