Nash is latest Bobcat to commit

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this past week with the announcement of another member of the 2021 squad committing to a four-year university.  Quarterback Drew Nash became the ninth person from the program to commit.

Nash will play at Western Colorado University, located in Gunnison, Colorado.  The Mountaineers play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  Western Colorado finished 10-2 overall in 2021, making the NCAA D2 playoffs. 

Nash led Saddleback in passing in 2021, finishing with 1,304 yards passing and 12 touchdowns.  He also finished with 36 yards and two scores on the ground.  Nash's best performance came against Mt. San Antonio College when he finished 20-of-26 for 260 yards passing and four touchdown passes. 

Nash is the ninth member of the program to commit to a four-year program this year.
