Hefft is the latest commit
The Saddleback baseball team had another commitment this week when it was announced that Jason Hefft has made a commitment to UNLV. Hefft is the third member of the team to commit during the season.
Hefft has had a sensational season in 2023. He leads the team in a number of offensive categories and was named to the All-Orange Empire Conference First Team following the conference schedule. Hefft leads Saddleback in average (.406), on-base percentage (.474), slugging percentage (.561) and doubles (21). His 21 doubles is currently tied for fifth all-time in program history for a single season while his .407 batting average ranks 15th.
Hefft gave a commitment to UNLV, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Rebels play an NCAA DI schedule within the Mountain West Conference.
Hefft lettered in baseball at San Clemente High School before graduating in 2020. While at SCHS, Hefft was a scholar-athlete and an All-Sea View League selection.
