Di Landri give Pac 12 verbal

The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news as one of the players from the 2023 squad has given a verbal commitment to a four-year university.  Pitcher Tommy Di Landri says he will play at USC.

Di Landri has appeared in three games so far in 2023 and has yet to give up an earned run.  He has struck out five opponents in 2.1 innings of work, earning one save in a recent outing against Palomar College.

Di Landri has given a verbal commitment to USC, a member of the Pac 12 Conference.  The Trojans have won 12 NCAA national titles in baseball, with the last coming in 1998.

Di Landri came to Saddleback from San Jacinto College (TX) where he played in 21 games and had five appearances on the mound for the Gators last year.  Previous to SJC, Di Landri lettered in baseball at Palo Verde High School (NV) before graduating in 2021.  While at PVHS, he was the Desert League Player-of-the-Year and an Under Armor All-America player.
