Daniels commits to national champs

The Saddleback volleyball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the beach volleyball program has committed to a four-year program.  Sophomore Logan Daniels will play at Vanguard University after committing to the Lions this past week.

Daniels played both indoor and beach volleyball for the Bobcats, earning All-Orange Empire Conference recognition in both.  Daniels teamed with Abigail Brown in finishing third at the Orange Empire Conference Finals in beach volleyball this spring, qualifying for the 3C2A Southern California Regionals.

Daniels will head to Vanguard University, located in Costa Mesa, California.  The Lions play under the NAIA umbrella within the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC).  Vanguard finished 21-5 overall in 2023, winning the GSAC and winning the NAIA national championship in April.

Daniels lettered in volleyall and track & field at Dana Hills High School before graduating in 2021.  While at DHHS, Daniels went to the CIF Finals in track & field for the discus and was the team MVP.

Daniels is the fourth member of the volleyball program to commit to a four-year university this spring.
