TITLE IX/Gender Equity Statement

The Saddleback College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to providing equal access, participation, and support for male and female student-athletes, to nurturing an environment that values all individuals and groups, and that is free of discrimination. Further, Saddleback College is committed to providing an academic environment free of unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex under any of our education programs or activities.  

Pursuant to Title IX and University policy no person shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity of the University. Further, retaliation against an individual for raising or supporting a Title IX concern is specifically prohibited. Finally, retaliation against an individual raising a Title IX concern is specifically prohibited.
