Lasting 45th at Brubaker

The Saddleback men's cross country team competed in the Brubaker Invitational on Friday at the Irvine Regional Park.  Sophomore Julian Lasting led the Gauchos to a 13^th place finish.

Lasting has been the leader for Saddleback all season, heading the pack in all six races.  He finished 45^th out of 187 racers on Friday, running the 4-mile trek in 22:02.4. 

Lasting was followed by teammate Conner Buwalda, who ran 67^th on Friday by finishing in 22:40.2.  One other Gaucho finished in the top 100 with Spencer Kandel finishing 81^st (23:01.4).

Saddleback will compete again at the Highlander Invitational next Saturday at UC Riverside.
