Saddleback keeper heading to Pepperdine

The Saddleback men’s water polo team had its most successful season ever in 2021 after finishing third at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championships in November. Despite being a fairly young team, one member of the Bobcats has decided on a four-year school for next year as goalkeeper Nathan James has made a commitment.

The Saddleback men’s water polo team completed the season with a 21-15 win over Diablo Valley College in the third place game at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Tournament. The Bobcats finished the season 28-8 for its best season ever.

The Saddleback men’s water polo team qualified for the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Tournament on Saturday with a 13-6 win against Grossmont College in the Southern California Regional semifinals. It is just the third time in school history that men’s water polo will play in the state tournament.

The Bobcats rallied from a first half deficit and will play Grossmont College on Saturday for a spot in the state tournament.

The Saddleback men’s water polo team advanced to the Orange Empire Conference Finals with a 13-10 win against Orange Coast College on Friday in Costa Mesa. It was the 25th win of the season for Saddleback, which ranks third in program history.

The Saddleback men’s water polo team broke out the brooms on Saturday by winning three times at the Southwestern Tournament in Chula Vista. The Bobcats now have 24 wins on the season.

The Saddleback men’s water polo team went 5-0 at the Cuesta College Invitational over the weekend, sweeping through five separate programs from Northern California. The Bobcats outscored their opponents 110-17 in the two days in improving to 18-3 overall.

The Saddleback men’s water polo team won its first Orange Empire Conference game of the year with a 28-5 win against Fullerton College on Wednesday inside the Saddleback Aquatics Center. The Bobcats led 18-1 at the half in cruising to the win.
