Cats prey on Condors for third straight win

The Saddleback men's basketball team won a third straight game with an 85-56 win over Oxnard College on Tuesday inside the gymnasium.  Charlie Stallings was a dominating force inside for the Bobcats.

Stallings finished with a game-high 27 points in just 23 minutes on the court, making 9-of-11 shots while collecting 10 rebounds.  Meanwhile, the Bobcat defense was vicious, forcing 21 turnovers from the Condors.

Saddleback never trailed in the game, building an 18-point lead in the first eight minutes of the game.  Stallings was the catalyst, scoring 16 of his points in the opening half.

Saddleback also had a big night from Christopher Williams, who had 14 in the first half and 18 for the game while finishing tied with Malachi Hiers for a team-high five assists.

Saddleback is now above .500 for the first time this season at 3-2 after winning their third straight game.  The Bobcats will go for four in a row on Saturday at Mt. San Jacinto College.  The Bobcats and Eagles are scheduled to start at 3:00 PM on Saturday in San Jacinto.
