Bio

Johnnie Peeples joined the Saddleback football staff in 2017.  Peeples has spent time as an assistant coach at Brethren Christian High School (2015), Huntington Beach High School (2014), Liberty Christian High School (2013) and Ft. Pierce High School in Florida (2007-08).  Previous to high high school experience, Peeples was a graduate assistant at the University of Montana (2003).

Peeples lettered in football, track and basketball at Ft. Pierce High School (FL).  Upon graduation, he lettered in basketball at Indian River College in Florida.  He later played football at Orange Coast College where he was an All-Mission Conference player.  Peeples then played at the University of Montana where he was part of a D1AA national championship team, earning All-Big Sky Conference recognition.  He later was inducted with the rest of the football team into the University of Montana Athletic Hall of Fame.  Peeples also played a season with the Bismark Roughriders of the National Indoor Football League in 2003.

Peeples has an Associate of Arts Degree from Orange Coast College and studied psychology at the University of Montana.  He and his family live in Huntington Beach.
