The Saddleback women's volleyball team defeated San Bernardino Valley College, 3-1, on Friday inside the gymnasium. The Bobcats are now 11-4 overall.
Saddleback was looking to rebound after a disappointing loss at Cypress College on Wednesday in Orange Empire Conference play. The Bobcat faithful had to be patient, but eventually got what they wanted.
Saddleback looked sluggish in the opening set as San Bernardino Valley took it to them and won the opening game, 25-16. The Bobcats again started slowly in game two before kicking it into gear. Saddleback rallied from behind to race past the Wolverines for a 25-20 win.
Saddleback then outplayed San Bernardino Valley over the next two sets as the offense found its rhythm. The Bobcats won game three 25-20 before rallying from a four-point deficit in game four for a 25-19.
Saddleback is now 11-4 overall. The Bobcats will get back into Orange Empire Conference play on Wednesday when they travel to Fullerton College for a 6:00 PM match.
