Saddleback rolled to a four-set win, beating the Hornets 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19 to claim its first conference win.  The Gauchos were led by big performances from Julia Brown, Kiana Camargo, Samantha Senske and Shay Savoie in the win.

Brown finished with team highs in both kills (20) and digs (14).  Camargo led the team with 34 assists while recording 10 digs of her own.  Senske finished with 12 kills and 12 digs while Savoie led the team with four service aces.

Saddleback improved to 2-6 overall and 1-1 in Orange Empire Conference play with the win.  The Gauchos will attempt to put together a second straight win on Friday night when they travel to Orange Coast College to take on the Pirates.  Match time is scheduled for 6:00 PM in Costa Mesa.
