Women’s tennis moves into third place

The Saddleback women's tennis team moved into third place in the Orange Empire Conference standings on Tuesday with a 5-4 win over Cypress College.  The Gauchos won 4-of-6 singles matches and sealed the team win at #1 doubles.

Saddleback opened up a 4-2 thanks to wins from Ashley Glick, Dominique Willette, Joanna Colin and Ariana Khalaj-Hedayati.  Glick and Willette then teamed at #1 doubles to seal the fate with a fifth win on the day. 

Saddleback is now 1-1 in conference play heading into a big showdown on Thursday against sister-school Irvine Valley.  Match time is scheduled for 2:00 PM at IVC.
