Randolph qualifies for state

The Saddleback women's golf team finished up the team portion of the season on Monday with an eighth place finish at the 3C2A Southern California Regional Finals at Simi Hills Golf Course in Simi Valley.  Madison Randolph qualified as an individual for the state tournament next week in Paso Robles.

Randolph had her best round of the season in round two on Monday when she shot 78 (+7) on the par-71 trek.  She opened the tournament with a round of 82 on Sunday.  Randolph's 160 total was good enough for 15th place in medalist play.

Following Randolph for Saddleback were Lauren Hambrick (178), Melissa Elahi (183), Erica Berger (194) and Rylee Lind (196).

Four teams qualified for the state tournament in Mt. San Antonio (628), Moorpark (650), Canyons (652) and Fullerton (662). Fullerton's Cathilyn Lee won medalist honors with a 139 total.

Randolph will compete as an individual at the 3C2A State Tournament at Hunter Ranch Golf Course in Paso Robles on Monday and Tuesday.
