Gauchos finish fourth at Morro Bay

The Saddleback women's golf team finished in fourth place at the North/South Invitational on Sunday and Monday in Morro Bay.  Katie Stribling led the team, finishing in third place in individual medalist play.

Saddleback was taking on all the top teams in the state and faired very well.  The Gauchos were in second place after the opening day before settling in for a fourth place finish on Monday.

Stribling shot rounds of 75 and 79 to finish in third place in medalist play.  She opened the second round with three straight double-bogeys before battling back with five birdies in the round.

Saddleback finished just one shot out of third place (Reedley College) and four shots out of second (College of the Desert).  College of the Canyons took first place in the event with a team score of 636.
