Gauchos still undefeated in OEC play

The Saddleback women's golf team remained undefeated in Orange Empire Conference play on Wednesday with a win at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club.  The Gauchos were led by Sunhae Son, while shooting 327 as a team.

Saddleback had an up and down day on the tough, par-72 course at Arroyo Trabuco.  One that didn't struggle was Son (pictured), who shot a season-low round of 76.  Son bounced back from a round of 83 last week to finish in a tie for second on Wednesday for individual medalist honors.

Saddleback's score of 327 as a team was the second best post of the season after shooting 323 last week at Costa Mesa Country Club.  Brittney Do finished in a tie for fifth place with a round of 79.  Anna Stowers had her best round of the season in shooting 83 while Tannaz Khazeni shot 89.

Individual medalist honors went to Fullerton College's Eunsoo Jeon, who shot 1-over-par (73). 

Saddleback is now 12-0 in Orange Empire Conference and leads Mt. San Antonio College by four games in the standings.  Brittney Do (3^rd), Sunhae Son (4^th), Tannaz Khazeni (7^th) and Anna Stowers (9^th) are all currently on in the top-10 in individual play through three matches. 

Saddleback will play again at Alta Vista Country Club next Monday in OEC play.
