Athletes recognized for classroom success

The Saddleback athletic department had its annual student-athlete luncheon on Monday in the gymnasium, where 167 athletes were recognized for their success in the classroom. In addition, five individuals received additional praise for their work on and off the field of play.
Wilkerson earns All-OEC honor

The Saddleback softball season came to a close this week and now that it’s over it was time for the Orange Empire Conference coaches to meet and select an all-conference team. Haliegh Wilkerson was selected to the second team on Thursday at the conference meeting.
Gauchos end slide against Rustlers

The Saddleback softball team recorded a 7-1 win at Golden West College on Wednesday in Huntington Beach. The Gauchos had a perfect combination of pitching and hitting in the win.
Gauchos serve double-doubles at MSJC

The Saddleback softball team ripped off a pair of wins at the Mt. San Jacinto College Tournament on Saturday in Menifee, California. The Gauchos stormed past College of the Desert, 12-0, before streaking past Oxnard College, 10-3.
Gauchos blast Eagles for first win

The Saddleback softball team won its first game of the season on Monday with a 12-1 victory over Mt. San Jacinto College in five innings. The Gauchos sent 12 batters to the plate in the opening inning in cruising to the win.
Gauchos silenced in opener

The Saddleback softball team opened the season with a 6-0 loss at home to Pasadena City College on Monday evening at the softball diamond. The Gauchos will try to hit the restart button on Friday.
