Gaucho signs with NAU

The Saddleback track & field team is ready to start the season this week at Bakersfield College and the track & field office took some time to report some transfer news.  Sophomore Blake Baloun signed a letter of intent and will compete at Northern Arizona next year.

Baloun had a solid freshman campaign last year when he finished fourth at the CCCAA State Finals in the shot put.  In addition, Baloun finished second in Southern California in the shot put and sixth in the discus at the regional finals.  

Northern Arizona is located in Flagstaff, Arizona.  The Lumberjacks compete in the Big Sky Conference.
