Men’s tennis picks up 10th win

The Saddleback men's tennis team improved to 10-6 on Tuesday with a convincing 9-0 win over Cypress College at Cypress.  The Gauchos remain in third place in the Orange Empire Conference standings.

Saddleback dominated from start-to-finish, losing just a handful of games.  The Gauchos won 72-of-81 games in singles, winning three of the matches 6-0, 6-0.  Vance La, Michael Park and Kris Harris all completed clean sweeps of their opponents.  The Gauchos then dominated three straight matches in doubles play, never losing more than two games in any of the matches.

Saddleback remained in third place in conference play with two conference matches left on the schedule.  The Gauchos will face San Diego Mesa College (10-3) in a non-conference match on Thursday before resuming OEC play.  Match time in San Diego is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
