Smith is third commitment

The Saddleback men's soccer team was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2024 squad has committed to a four-year university.  Sophomore Joel Smith became the third player on the team to commit during the offseason.

Smith will play at Biola University, located in La Mirada, California.  The Eagles play an NCAA D2 schedule within the PacWest Conference. 

Smith played in 35 games in two seasons at Saddleback, scoring 10 goals with six assists.  He was named to the All-Orange Empire Conference Team following his freshman season in 2023.
