Bobcats bounce back

The Saddleback men's basketball team shook off a loss on Friday with a 77-66 win against East Los Angeles College on Saturday at the Alvin Hunter Classic at San Bernardino Valley College.  The Bobcats led by as many as 20 points in the second half.

Saddleback suffered its first loss of the season on Friday against West Los Angeles College and the fans wondered how the team would bounce back less than 24 hours later.  The Bobcats were just fine, cruising past perennial power East Los Angeles with a double-digit win.

James Burries continued his scoring spree, finishing with 33 points on the afternoon.  Joining Burries in double digits was John McFadden and Charlie Stallings, who had 21 points and 12 points, respectively. 

Saddleback is now 4-1 on the season out of the gate.  The Bobcats will continue at San Bernardino Valley with a game against Compton College on Sunday.  Tip time is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
