Gauchos Dial up another commitment

The Saddleback men's basketball program was back in the news over the weekend with the announcement that another member of the 2019-20 team has committed to a four-year university.  David Dial becomes the fifth member of the squad to decide on a new home.

Dial will continue his basketball career at the University of South Dakota, located in Vermillion, South Dakota.  The Coyotes play and an NCAA D1 schedule within the Summit League.

Dial played in all 30 games this past season for Saddleback, leading the Gauchos in scoring (14.3 ppg) and assists (4.9 asp).  He scored in double-figures 23 times during the course of the season, including a season-high 29 points in a win against Golden West College (83-65) on December 20.

Dial came to Saddleback from Charles F. Brush High School in Ohio where he lettered in basketball before graduating in 2019.  While at BHS, Dial was the conference player-of-the-year and a three-time team MVP.

Dial is the fifth member of the 2019-20 team to commit to a four-year university.
