Waikle says yes to APU

The Saddleback men's basketball program was back in the news this week as one of the players from the 2019-20 squad has committed to a four-year university.  Sophomore Dillon Waikle will play at Azusa Pacific University, according to the basketball office.

Waikle played in 53 games in two seasons at Saddleback, starting 27 games this past season.  Waikle had a season-high of 14 points against San Diego City College on November 10 and a season-high nine rebounds against Barstow College on November 8.

Waikle will continue his basketball career at Azusa Pacific University, located in Azusa, California.  The Cougars play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Pacific West Conference.  They were 25-4 overall in 2019-20, winning the PWC.
