The Saddleback men's basketball team is back in the news this week as it was announced that the Gaucho hoopsters had another player sign to a four-year institution.  Stephen Short is the latest Saddleback basketball player to sign a letter of intent.

Short will join fellow teammate Hayden Fredrick in signing at San Diego Christian College.  The Hawks play under the NAIA umbrella and are a part of the Golden State Athletic Conference.

Short was a graduate of local Capistrano Valley High School and played in 11 games this past season for the Gauchos.  He shot 50% from the field and made all four free throw attempts for the year.

Short becomes the fifth member of the 2015-16 squad to sign a letter of intent.
