Klines is the latest commitment

The Saddleback basketball office announced on Wednesday that guard Devonte Klines has made a decision on his basketball future.  The freshman all-conference selection will continue his career at Montana State University.

Klines joined the Gauchos this winter from Santa Margarita Catholic High School and instantly jumped into the starting lineup, often being called upon to guard the No. 1 offensive threat from opposing teams.  Klines averaged 7.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals-per-game, playing in all 33 contests.  He was rewarded with All-Orange Empire Conference Second Team recognition.

Klines joins sophomore Josh Mishler as the second player on the team to make a commitment.  Mishler committed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before the beginning of the season.  Others are expected to make commitments in the coming months.

Montana State is located in Bozeman, Montana, and plays in the Big Sky Conference.  The Bobcats finished 14-16 overall and 9-8 in the Big Sky.
