Host enters his second season in a Gaucho uniform with a focus on more success. Originally from Mound Westonka High School in Minnesota, Host has made a name for himself with his toughness and tenacity. Appearing in 22 games as a freshman, Host made his presence felt in games against Mt. San Jacinto and Barstow. His effort and enthusiasm almost brought the Gauchos back from a twenty point deficit vs. Mt. San Jacinto. In Minnesota, Host lettered in basketball and football. He was a 3-time all-conference player in high school as well setting schools scoring records.

Coach Ground's Quote: “Collin’s work ethic during this past offseason was tremendous. He has moved from more of the 3 position he played as a freshman to more of a 4 position he is playing for us now. The transition has been seamless as he has really done a good job in the weight room to put on ten pounds and has worked with the coaches to have a great understanding of the offense. He is battling a foot issue right now and his absence from practice has been noticeable. His effort and toughness inspire his teammates and we can’t wait to get him back on the floor!”
