Gaucho transfer list hits double-digits

National signing day came and went on Wednesday and another handful of Gauchos from the 2015 squad are on the move.  A total of 10 Saddleback players have made their decision with eight weeks remaining in the signing period.

Three more players made their decisions this week, with corner Shaquan Whitaker heading to the University of Sioux Falls and both punter Thomas Manning and wide receiver Cody White looking to enroll at UNLV.

Whitaker (pictured) finished sixth on the team with 56 tackles, also recording four pass break-ups and one interception.  He finished with 72 tackles, two interceptions and five pass break-ups in 23 games for the Gauchos during his career.  Sioux Falls is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and plays an NCAA D2 schedule in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Manning averaged 37.5 yards-per-punt average on 92 punts in his two-year career, landing 29 inside the 20-yard line.  He will join the UNLV program during the spring.  UNLV is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and plays in the Mountain West Conference West Division.

White played in just three games as a freshman before leaving his mark this season as a sophomore.  He finished third on the team with 36 receptions, averaging 16.6 yards-per-catch with four touchdowns.  Like Manning, he will join the UNLV program during the spring.
