Two more Gauchos sign letters of intent

The Saddleback football program had two more players from the 2015 sign letters of intent this week, running the team total to five for the early signing period.  Safeties Marcus Zachary Wade and Marcus Meredith both took official visits to Murray State this past weekend and signed on the dotted line.

Wade and Meredith both were 1-2 in tackles on the team respctively, leading the team in multiple categories.  Wade had a team-high 98 tackles in 13 games, tying for the team lead in fumble recoveries (3).  Meredith finished with 86 tackles in 12 games, leading the team with three forced fumbles and finishing second with 11 pass break-ups.

Meredith was a unanimous selection to the National Division Southern League First Team following the season while Wade was a second team selection.

Both players signed with Murray State, an FCS program that plays in the Ohio Valley Conference.  Murray State is located in Murray, Kentucky, and finished 3-8 in 2015.
