Volleyball commitments up to four

The Saddleback women's volleyball program is now up to four commitments to universities after the volleyball office announced that Lauren Whitehouse has given a commitment to a four-year school.   Whitehouse will play both indoor and beach volleyball at Tusculum College.

Whitehouse played beach volleyball in 2017 and was on the indoor team for the past two years.  In her two years of indoor competition, Whitehouse had 252 kills in 43 matches, also collecting 102 digs and 22 blocked shots.  She also was part of a beach program that won its first match in program history in 2017.

Whitehouse will transfer to Tusculum College, located in Tusculum, Tennessee.  The Pioneers play an NCAA D2 schedule in the South Atlantic Conference.  Tusculum finished 15-16 overall in indoor volleyball this past fall and will start beach volleyball next spring.

Whitehouse graduated from Redlands East Valley High School in 2016.
