Bio

Wilford is back for his 9th season of coaching at Saddleback after stints with the program in 2004-09, 2012 and 2019.  During his previous tenures on the Saddleback staff, Wilford was an offensive line coach, run-game coordinator and video coordinator.

Wilford most recently coached at Laguna Hills High School from 2013-17, serving as the offensive coordinator of the freshman team.  He has also spent time at Golden West College (2002), Laguna Hills (varsity team 1999-01), Fountain Valley High School (1996-98) and Los Alamitos High School (1993).

Wilford attended Los Alamitos High School before attending Fullerton College, Azusa Pacific University and California State University-Chico.  He earned a BA from CSU-Chico, a teaching credential from CSU-Dominguez Hills, an MA from CSU-San Bernardino and an MA from Azusa Pacific.

Wilford lives with his wife Emily and daughter Madison in Mission Viejo.
