Bio
O'Dell joined the Saddleback track and field coaching staff in 2023 as an assitant coach in charge of throws. Previous to Saddleback, O'Dell spent 12 years as an assistant at the high school level as a strength coach at both Mission Viejo High School (9 years) and JSerra High School (3 years). During his high school career, he helped produce 42 individual league champions, eight CIF division champions, five CIF masters champions and four CIF state champions.
