Bio

Westling joined the Saddleback staff in the fall of 2015 as the head men's golf coach.  Since arriving, Westling has elevated the program to one of the best in the state.  The Bobcats finished second at the CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships and second in the state at the CCCAA State Finals in 2022.  In addition, his program captured the Orange Empire Conference title in 2022 after a 14-year hiatus.

Previous to Saddleback, Westling coached both the boys and girls golf teams at Aliso Niguel High School, finishing second in the state in 2001 for girls golf.  In 2005, he was named the Orange County Golf Coach-of-the-Year.  In addition, Westling coached the surf team at Aliso Niguel and won three state championships.  Westling was also a swim coach at Big Canyon Country Club.  

Westling graduated from St. Paul High School where he lettered in football and track & field.
